As a well-established family owned business, its aim is to offer premium products with impeccable etiquette. From traditional fruit jams and marmalades to flavoursome chutneys and relishes, the aim remains the same: to prepare and supply high quality speciality gift foods, package them simply and let the quality speak for itself. Clearly it speaks volumes, as the brand has won several Great Taste awards from the Guild of Fine Food.
Keeping recipes simple, maintaining a rich taste and superior texture.
The Women's Institute food range is a fine collection of gift foods. Famous for its no nonsense approach to cookery and the calibre of its timeless recipes - the organisation has a history that is synonomous with good, wholesome, home-made food. All recipes are created in collaboration with the Women's Institute and produced using a small selection of artisan producers in the UK.
Butler's Groves Elizabethan England Tewkesbury Mustard with Horseradish and is a sweet, hot and smooth mustard. A bright and hot addition to a meat or cheese sandwich. Add a small amount to home-made white sauces, or use to make salad dressings. Tewkesbury was the site of the Battle of Tewkesbury on 4 May 1471. At the Bloody Meadow, south of the town, Edward IV's Yorkist forces defeated the House of Lancaster in a historic battle of the Wars of the Roses with a bloody aftermath. Tewkesbury was incorporated during the reign of Elizabeth I. Butler's Groves Elizabethan England range is inspired by the tastes of the Elizabethan era. Each product is distinctively packaged in a smart panelled jar and hand finished with a mock wax seal top on the lid, a swing tag featuring an ornate portrait of Queen Elizabeth I and containing a brief history of the Monarch.
